cocktails popularized by movies (NPR)

I visited Death & Co in D.C. for an NPR story about movie-inspired cocktails for New Year’s Eve. Weekend All Things Considered interviewed Josh White, the bar manager, who graciously crafted these for the piece. From a Manhattan (Some Like it Hot) to a Vesper (Casino Royale), French 75 (Casablanca), and White Russian (The Big Lebowski), the big screen powered the popularity of many classic cocktails.

Josh created one of his own too: a green pistachio-and-lemon Death Becomes Her inspired by the 1992 horror comedy which, for whatever reason, I think I watched half a dozen times as a kid.
